This class will explore God’s amazing cultures and biomes as we take a trip around the world. We will be exploring the many diverse regions, landscapes and climates of the seven continents. Along the way we will further develop our map skills to find our way as we uncover the new "Seven World Wonders." This class incorporates reading, worksheets, tests, note taking, and projects. Supply fee includes ALL books, hand-outs, notebooks and project supplies. Students may be added mid-year with tutor’s permission.

This class is a survey of American history from The Civil War to Modern Times. Due to the amount of material that must be covered, at least, 75% of each class will be lecture. Students will be covering approximately one half of a chapter per week. Students will be required to read assigned pages and answer the section review and chapter questions for homework. Classes will also include review, discussion, and videos. Projects and reports will also be assigned. Supply fee includes copies, notebook, dividers, transparencies, and videos.

Tests and projects will be geared to the various grade levels. Classes will also include review, discussion, and videos. Projects and reports will also be assigned. Supply fee includes copies, notebook, dividers, transparencies, and videos.

Students will be required to read assigned pages and answer the section review and chapter questions for homework. Classes will also include review, discussion, and videos. Projects and reports will also be assigned. Supply fee includes copies, notebook, dividers, transparencies, and videos. Oklahoma History Textbooks will be provided to students to use and they will be collected at the end of the year.

Understanding the Times will help students discover the basic ideas behind the dominant worldviews of our generation. A worldview dictates one’s understanding and response to the surrounding world. This course will facilitate the analysis of Secular Humanism, Marxism, Islam, Cosmic Humanism, Post-Modernism, and other non-biblical approaches to reality. Contemporary social and political issues will be evaluated from a biblical worldview in an attempt to prepare the students for a life of pro-active Christianity. Designed for students approaching college, this class will include video, lecture, discussion, research, reading and writing.
